Cyber Law is a law for the legal issues related to use of communication and
information technologies. In Cyber Law an unlawful act is done where a computer
is a tool or a target or both. Some of the cyber-crime are identity theft, fraud,
forgery, defamation, mischief, phishing, hacking, harassment and stalking, cyber-bullying etc.
The objective of the Information Technology Act or the Cyber Law in India is:

accept agreements online

To give legal recognition to keeping accounting books in electronic
form by bankers as well as other organizations
